Easy to set up and use and aesthetically pleasing. It is very slim and small she easy to store under something. I have tile floors and if I set it up so that it is on more than one piece of til I will get a bad read. That’s the only negative.

I work out heavily daily, and lift heavy weights (3-4 days week), with cardio 5 days a week. As such I always weigh Heavy/obese based on BMI. (poor measuring system overall, but what my insurance uses) Though I am actually thin, with alot of muscle (female). Per my Dr. my weight and size are appropriate.
However, the feature I love about this scale is the Athletic mode, which does help tweak other numbers to make them display more accurate numbers, based on my actual Body fat levels.
My Spouse who is less athletic, also uses the scale, and his numbers appear accurate as well.
The only dislike, is a black glass scale always looks smudged with footprints, It bugs me. But not the scales fault.

I’m not sure what some people are talking about in regards to this scale, but setup was extremely easy. It is on the small side, but that’s fine with me. It is compact and lightweight which I appreciate. It is a beautiful scale with a beautiful app. I love it tracks pretty much all my measurements which I can say is pretty accurate. I had a DEXA Body Fat scan last year and these numbers compared to the numbers I got are not too far off.

It looks like a nice scale, BUT the APP is NOT OK. In the Google Play store, Norton popped up with a warning I have never seen before: a big red X. ”Unusual Behavior”, ”Intrusive Ads” and an additional warning that the app has access to everything on my phone and was sharing with ”Unkown” sources. This is not only a bathroom scale but a personal data collection device – and then what? They sell it? Returning!

Great price for a bluetooth scale.
It was easy to install the app for my android phone and as long as bluetooth is on (which it can turn on for you if you step on it) it will take and save all of your readings. Can’t say I’m happy with my metabolic age! But that’s not the scale’s fault.

I’ve been using the app for a couple of months and noticed tonight that I can’t access my personal information unless I agree to their new Privacy Policy. I took the time to read the lengthy document which includes information about not being able to use this product if you are under age … That may be boilerplate, but that and other clauses about being able to share my personal information with their affiliates is a red flag for me. I’ve worked in IT for decades and I’m cautious and concerned when someone wants to keep a personal file with data that is outside the scope of the application or intended use.
So bottom line … If I won’t sign (accept) the ”new” privacy policy, then I LOOSE all of my data to date.
THIS IS A BATHROOM SCALE. What happens between my scale and I should stay in the confines of my proximity Bluetooth. I should never be held hostage to a company who wants to collect personal data from my cellphone.
I feel badly because I have personally recommended this product to friends some of whom have bought this scale on my recommendation. Now I need to go back and discuss these privacy concerns with each of them.
I think it’s important for each of us to be aware and informed about what personal data we consent to share. And it’s important to draw a line and let companies know when they have crossed that line.

It looks great, the tempered glass looks very premium, and having owned a previous version, the size is now a bit smaller so easier to store, and still a good size for using it.
It comes with the batteries and set up instructions, and is fairly simple to set up. Although, having owned a previous renpho smartscale, it’s a shame I had to set up a new fitindex account. It would have been nice to be able to sign in with my same account, and have my historic data in the same app. Also the app doesn’t have social media sign in or sign up options, which in 2021 is a must in my opinion. Nobody wants to remember passwords anymore. This is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5, even though it’s related to the app and not the scale itself, but they do go together.
Once everything is set up and paired, it’s super simple to use, and the data is very useful, and I love that I can sync it with my samsung health app, so I can keep track of my weight on my smartwatch, and adjust my activity to reach my goals.

It does seamlessly put the data into Apple Health as well which is a nice bonus. Totally exceeded my expectations there. You do have to create some sort of account, but I setup a catch-all email address for it and they’ve not sent me any spam yet.
The scale measurements seem to jive with the equipment at the gym almost perfectly so I’ve moved to using this scale at home for everything and not checking at the gym any more. I now can check my weight/body fat/etc at the same time every day (as soon as I get up) so it’s as consistent as it can be and any gains/loss will be more realistic.
Would easily recommend this to anyone (and have already told my dad he should pick one up). Seems like a bargain.
