I had for 7 years an electronic scale that provided some stats in addition to the weight. However, my constant concern and dissatisfaction was that if you weighted yourself several times at once it provided slightly different results every time. Over time I looked for new models that may prove to be consistent but the reviews always showed someone complaining for this same issue. Now that my scale lost one of its “feet” and wasn’t “correctly” calculating the stats, I looked once more and found in the Arboleaf a reviewer who specifically mentioned its consistency in the measurements. So that and the rest of the good reviews on a relatively new product and the affordable price, moved me to give it a try… and I’m so glad I did. The set up was very easy and after I stepped on it for the first time last night, I went back several times and the measurements didn’t change!! This morning I did the same and it kept today’s readings too, which were different from yesterday as expected. It also calculated the changes from yesterday’s readings and all the results are shown in table and graphic formats which is very helpful. It’s also great that every measurement is then located in a chart that shows your condition in the range from under, normal or over. There’s so much information for you to understand your real condition and the areas that need to work out and those to maintain. I just want it to keep working properly for the longest of time.

I bought both the Arboleaf and the Renpho scales to compare. They basically come up with the exact same weight and details. The Renpho is $30 less than these scales but are not as visually appealing as the Arboleaf. I believe both scales are pretty accurate when it comes to weight however, the other measurements are subject to the information you put in about yourself. If you use sports mode then it says I am the same age I entered no matter what age I put in when I make a profile, If I leave it in normal mode it says I am two years younger at any age I try it at. The sports mode puts my measurements much less than the none sports mode which means this technology is giving details according to rules of how its been programed to and not on the actual reading of the person’s body. This is exactly the same outcome for the Renpho. I would say that no scale out there has the ability to accurately read a person’s inner fat, water etc and we are probably away from it. Put aside these are both great scales for weight and for me the Arboleaf looks better in my bathroom.

The app is a bonus, and very easy to pair. I love how it graphs your progress and tells you more details with such a user friendly interface. Adding in home users is easy.
