I was surprised and disappointed to find that the machine did not produce valid readings–too high compared to other (medical offices) machines. I returned this one and bought the higher priced by same Maker (brand) also made in Vietnam.
It too produced invalid readings (too high). As of now, I wouldn’t buy anything with he Omron label.

Easy to use and read, however the readings are consistently 10 pts. or more higher than other machines including our doctor’s office. Took the machine to the office and did back-to-back readings and this machine is ALWAYS higher than other machines. Omron’s customer service was not friendly or helpful. Tried to submit an online request for assistance which they never responded to. Finally called and was told we could pay to ship it back for ”testing”. They would check it out and send it back to us at no charge. I do not recommend this product.

It is true that the monitor seems accurate and is easy to use and read. However, when I called customer support to ask how to get it to display the time and date the reading was taken I was told that it is a series 3 which does not display time and date and that I need a series 5 for that. I did not see that information in the advertisement for the product, so I am returning this as most brands of these monitors do supply that information. Advertisement should have said that time and date are not available on this model. So advertisement is misleading.

I was using a different BP cuff which was giving incorrect readings, so I was hesitant to buy this monitor. Several reviewers stated that it has not been accurate for them, but my experience has been the opposite. I bring this to every medical appointment and have the office staff measure my blood pressure first. Then, we check it with this Omron model, and every time, it gives a similar reading. I am much more confident now that I am getting accurate BP readings at home, and that is absolutely critical for managing hypertension. Whichever monitor you purchase, always bring it with you to the doctor’s office to check whether or not it is accurate. For me, this has been a very reliable and accurate monitor, and I highly recommend it.

The product has not provided accurate readings as shown by testing at our doctors office against their professional equipment.
We would like to return it but the return date is passed. it was only after we took the several weeks of results to the our doctor that we found out the at the product failed – which causes stress to the person relying on accurate results.
How do we return and get a refund, please.

The machine is pretty well built and uses 4 batteries, which it comes with, making it pretty portable. Since it only has one button it’s super easy to use. The only reason I gave it a 3/5 stars is because it’s very hit and miss when it comes to the accuracy of the readings. When compared with my manual BP moniter often time the machine is very inaccurate, other times it’s spot on. This unreliability is very frustrating, but it works most of the time and it’s very convenient so I’ve kept it.

He checked my BP and say it wasn’t really off but had me back in a couple weeks. I brought the cuff in and we did a side by side comparison and my actual bp was 110/80, this machine said 139/95. I do not recommend this product.
