Accurate and exactly as described by seller and positive reviews. Negative reviews either are uneducated on how to use and get accurate reading, using old batteries/possibly may need to use ones other than provided or unfortunately received defective version. With batteries provided I am very satisfied. What an affordable price; though, I feel employers should be providing touchless thermometers for essential workers to use for those requiring frequent temperatures, that is not the reality. The price is worth the time saved, less hassle and interruption of my patients’ rest as a night shift employee and when used correctly provides accurate reading with much less risk of infection transmission using a community oral thermometer with probes. In these times, it’s safer practice and patients who are elderly and have other illnesses and recovering from covid or are being monitored due to possible exposure to covid need their rest and this allows me to obtain what I need without interrupting their sleep. Don’t be skeptical of the affordability, it is not too good too be true. It’s a great deal for the quality. I held out until the last possible second to buy my own equipment, I’m thankful for this quickly delivered affordable thermometer that is every bit as nice as $50+ models I have used and just as effective.

Kiddo went back to in person school and one of the requirements is for a health card to be filled out daily. Point, trigger and bam temp. No having to wait forever. Nowadays a touchless thermometer is the way to go. Easy to use, just aim and scan. The temperature readings are pretty spot on. The thermometer can store up to 40 data readings, so I can keep track of the temperature history. A one button controls makes it so easy to use. The LCD display is easy to see and read. Works great for children as well as adults. Having to take the kids temperature everyday before school, the thermometer comes in real handy. It’s lightweight and easy to use.

I purchased this thermometer shortly before I tested positive for Covid. Both myself and my children were sick, and it was imperative that I had a reliable and accurate thermometer. I brought this with me to an urgent care visit and it was approximately 1° higher then the digital oral thermometer that the urgent care used. Knowing that I could comfortably use it at home, taking into account the slight deviation, made it worth the purchase. It is very easy to use and the results are consistent. According to the instructions there is a cool down period, so if you are getting multiple readings that vary greatly, you may not be giving your device enough time to re-calibrate. It gets four stars for not being completely accurate, but other than that, I’m very happy that I have it.

I am immunocompromised, and I need a fast, accurate thermometer (in non Corona times) because I often end up with sepsis due to my port. Usually it is already a high enough fever where rigors/chills are really bad and I need a simple way to take my temp. With COVID, not only is it more necessary for me to be ready, but I can non-invasively check guests to my home (and my 5yo). I have used clinic quality touch, and ear thermometers. But they break pretty easy.
This one has had good ratings.
It arrived in a good packaging condition. Solid, doesn’t feel ”cheap”. Easy to use. Great manual that includes proper instructions on use and temperature variants. Seemed accurate compared to standard oral thermometer.

our previous thermometer was an in-mouth one and still hadn’t reached a finished signal in 10 minutes. It also required plastic sleeves which we were running out of. This new one is contactless so can be rapidly used for several family members with no ‘extras’ needed.
